Presidential Leadership Experience and a Passion for Supporting Other Women
Attention women seeking new leadership opportunities in higher education: we have exciting news! Today it is with great pleasure that we announce the distinguished former President of Southwest Minnesota State University, Dr. Connie Gores, is now a full partner at The Success Associates.
Connie and I first met as colleagues when we both participated in the senior women leaders group sponsored by the Virginia Network of the American Council on Education. She also attended a seminar I presented to the Network about career strategies and subsequently utilized The Success Associates’ executive coaching services as she enhanced her own leadership journey.
Over the years as a busy chief executive with her own responsibilities, she referred many other women to this executive coaching service which led to six other women successfully securing presidencies of their own – two of those women now in their second presidencies. Connie’s efforts also helped other women find Vice Presidencies in both public and private institutions, assisted those with problematic situations at work, and guide many others in their move from mid-level to senior positions.
Connie is now dedicating her talents to serve others as they plan and pursue next steps. She is a proven leader with first-hand experience in higher education that provides trusted advice. She is an inspiring coach, mentor, role model, and transformation leader for many talented women across the country.
As she joins the consulting world with The Success Associates, we will continue to be the best source of inspiration for next steps as well as concrete strategies and action plans for your leadership experiences.
